Emma and Chris are a newly engaged couple who are making their way through college both as Photography majors; however, Chris goes to Purdue University and Emma is attending the Memphis College of Art in Tennessee. Chris and I had our client meeting with Emma via Skype, which was pretty awesome for me to have her input on the shoot.
Chris initially contacted me based on my work and the ways I shoot, which was something I for sure appreciated. We booked the session for the day after Christmas however Mother Nature had a different plan. We were under a "Winter Weather Advisory" and the snow / wind were horrible, so we re-scheduled for the following day with no snow in the forecast.
We met in Battle Ground with plans to make our way to Lafayette. I was stoked to finally be able to do a snow engagement session. They mentioned that they've never really been on the opposite side of the camera before, but they did great. They were most definitely a fun couple, and I wish them both the best of luck in the future.
Thank you for viewing and Enjoy.

Zac & Andrea Christmas Style // Fort Wayne, IN
I have known Andrea for some time as a former co-worker and her husband Zac. If you are a long time follower of this blog, you have seen that I did photograph their New Years Eve wedding in Fort Wayne Zac & Andrea // Fort Wayne Botanical Conservatory Wedding
Andrea and I have tossed around ideas for her Christmas cards for some time. Andrea chose the location St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm, who were very accommodating and helpful, not to mention they are a dog friendly location, which meant Zac and Andrea wanted to bring along their Golden Retriever Ellie. The grounds were perfect and the weather was pretty spot on too. I have to always always give thanks to my daughter Heaven for her assistance and help with Ellie and lugging around my camera bag and holding lenses. She's the best. As always, I'd like to thank you clients for the opportunity and the laughs.
Enjoy and Happy Holidays.
