Laura & Joel // Lafayette, IN

Laura and Joel were an awesome couple that were really excited about my work(bonus right?!) They contacted me looking for an engagement session. They specifically wanted fall colors. With the weather getting colder in Indiana causing the leaves to turn colors a little faster we had to rush on this session. After a breezy outdoor client meeting we had some laughs and over all good time we locked in the date however Mother Nature had some other plans. The day we were supposed to shoot it rained and the winds were upwards of 30+ mph! Luckily we were able to re-schedule for the following Wednesday.

Laura and Joel are both students at Purdue University. Laura is in her first year as a Ph.D student in Human Development and Family Studies. Joel is doing his masters in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have the coolest clients. We both seperately scouted for the shoot at Happy Hallow Park in Lafayette. The leaves all around were a vibrant yellows greens and reds with other fall like hues for us to explore and use. Im really really pleased with the outcome of just working with an great couple as well as the location.

Both Laura and Joel are from Tri-Cities area of Washington which is were their wedding will be held in early August. A Barn style DIY wedding. Im stoked for these two and I wish them both the best of luck through out their time in Indiana and in life. Thank you and enjoy!

Dereka & Marve // Lafayette, IN

Dereka and Marve originally contacted me to shoot their wedding in December of this year however they decided best that an engagement session with me would suit their needs a bit better. Dereka is a grad student at Purdue for Meteorology and Marve actually lives in Mississippi. He made an 11 hour drive to surprise Dereka for this session. We were able to shoot the session, edit and I was able to get the finished product to them before Marve had to leave to go back to Mississippi.

This session was a lot of fun. We utilized some of the downtown Lafayette area, which is something I normally like to do; but once I mentioned checking out some of the greater Lafayette alley ways, Marve lit up with excitement! You could feel the chemistry between this couple and it was all jokes. As with most of my sessions, there were a lot of laughs and goofy poses along with a lot of love and overall happiness. I really enjoyed this session and I wish this couple the best of luck in the future.

Dana & Ryan // Carrigage House. Salnine, MI

Dana and Ryan or Ryan and Dana however you want to say it...it doesn't matter, but this couple really embraces the quintessential "Happy Couple." You know those little gifts you get at Christmas time from say a co-worker or relative that says something to the effect of "Live. Love. Laughter," this couple really embodies that! It's actually awe inspiring.

I have maintained a friendship with both Dana and Ryan since I shot their engagement session almost 2 years before their wedding. Even their engagement session was a lot of fun and so much laughter among the three of us. Such a good time. Ryan & Dana

This wedding and reception was held at a beautiful historical property known as "Wellers". Wellers Weddings They offered an awesome, classic back drop for what I wanted to capture for the day. With the rain coming on and off all day, the large gazebo was a perfect addition. All in all it was a beautiful wedding with awesome and very appreciative people all the way around. As a wedding photographer I really couldn't have asked for more.

Dana and Ryan currently reside in North Carolina. They both continue to work in the Veterinarian field. I wish them the best of luck in all of their endeavors and a huge thank you to both of them for believing in me when I was new to engagement sessions and sticking with me as I have grown and progressed.
