My Awesome Daughter

At 4:54am on March 2nd I stood by Joanna's side. I saw something I had never seen before, I saw something that made me speechless. I saw something that was a part of me. Endless emotions flowing through me as an overwhelming sense of "please tell me everything is ok" but this was the moment...this moment I saw my daughter Heaven being born. I will never forget these moments and I will never forget the days we've spent together and I look forward to so many more. Youre the best daughter I could ever ask for! Happy 11th Birthday Heaven!

Pussycat Vintage // Fort Wayne, IN

I had a chance to help Nicole Funk and Lindsay Cheesebrew with their vintage clothing Etsy page and I thought it was awesome! Its very family oriented and it was a great opportunity for everyone involved.

In case of Emergency Press Studios // Bloomington, IN

Jarod and I have been long time friends. Weve always been into art and succeeded together. I went the ways of photography and he went int he direction of screen print. Fast forward to present day. I found myself at In case of Emergency Press, his studio space.

Jarod had several projects going for local bands and artists and its always good to see him succeed and push on in his craft. I set up an Alien Bee and softbox and shot away to showcase a bit of what he does as well as new promo for his website. incaseofemergencypress

Zac & Andrea // Fort Wayne, IN

Zac & Andrea approached me to shoot their wedding about 3 weeks before New Years. It was about 2.5 hours away from where I currently reside but the wedding was in my home town so I jumped on it, I knew the Botanical Conservatory would be an location would be awesome for wedding. The ceremony was short and direct and we had plenty of time after to shoot formals and other shots. Fort Wayne always provides awesome backdrops for the couples I shoot! this was fun for sure.

Breaking the Rules Workshop // Appleton, WI

David Jackson is one of my mentors and more respected photographers in the business. I was about to shoot with him in November for his Simple+Dirty work when he came through Gary Indiana. Truly genuine and down to earth guy.
His Breaking the Rules Portrait Workshop wrapped up in a little under 14 hours! adding the 5.5 hours of drive time there and back and little to no heat in my hotel it was an awesome experience.
He challenged my skill set along with teaching me several things I used to better myself and push my photography to that next level and I was awesome to say the least.

Kelsey & Katie // Fort Wayne, IN

Kelsey and Katie are family and I was asked to do a large family session for my Aunt Roxanne aka their Nana for an Christmas present. Something to have all the grandkids together. This was the first leg of the shoot. This was set in Franke Park and over all a good time. Enjoy

Grand Kids Session // Fort Wayne, IN

This was over all part II of the session for my Aunt Roxanne's Christmas Present. These are all her grandkids whom she adores to no end. It was fun to get them all together in all excitement. It was a quick session due to I had one more family to shoot and the sun was going away quick. Location: Franke Park.

Nicole & Carl and Family // Fort Wayne, IN

Nicole & Carl and Family was the third leg of the family session. They wanted to shoot a quick family session along with the work I was doing with the grandkids so we busted out a quick session. I did my best given the sun setting and being new on off camera lighting. Thank you and Enjoy

Ryan & Dana // Lafayette, IN

Ryan & Dana contacted me separately and raved about my work and had no idea they both contacted me. How awesome is that!? They were the most willing and laid back couple to work with. They're simply a gorgeous couple. Both of them are in the Veterinarian field and have been more than open about ideas and being all around good people. I have the opportunity to shoot their wedding in September 2012 in Michigan which Im really looking forward to. Enjoy

Trinity Jacobs // Fort Wayne, IN

For a present to my Brother and Sister I gave them a silly little coupon to use for a free photo session with me for anything they wished...not pretentious or anything right? ;) My brother Matt decided that we would get pictures of his Daughter Trinity was about 9 months old at the time of the shoot. The day of the shoot it was brisk and a little windy. Trinity was tired but we were able to get to a few locations and get some good stuff. Here is my session with Trinity. Enjoy and Thank you
